Friday and everything is alright now!

good Friday to you and you and you and even you!

I finally had a good cry over the things at the Safe before falling asleep last night. What that means is I am done all the craziness. Let's face it, the one that caused all the grief couldn't break us, and finally retreated and left. Time to take a deep breath, claim the site back knowing only happiness and goodwill is there.

I say it's time to PARTY. And I do know that the Safe is going to have a huge party very soon.

****Keep your eyes peeled for details***

OK, the fridge stopped yesterday. Thank goodness for extra fridges and freezers.

I am frying up over a dozen of good Italian sausages for the pitch in at work. yummmmmy.
Pitch ins rock, btw. lol

See ya real soon....

running ahead of schedule

Got up 20 minutes early, my salad for lunch is packed, breakfast is in overwith. I am down to just sips of coffee. But, that can change in the blink of an eye. Have you noticed that? Suddenly a simple morning turns into a hectic rush drive due to some accident in the rain. Or it can be as simple as not being able to find your KEYS. Yikes, just thinking about the hours wasted on finding my keys, let alone the fear suffered...which I am sure took a second or two off my lifespan.

I have 2 layouts in the making for the July kit showcase for the Memory Safe. Had to get my lazy behind up and thread the sew machine. I even know what altered item I am doing. The list I have given my garage-sale-going friends have paid off in tins! ehehehehehe Need to enlarge a pic or two for this weekend, I got the NEW PRIMA crate with the mulberry paper florals. YUMMY. With those and some We Are Memory Makers paper....I am set to create. I have been submitting my work everywhere, lately. Joining as many contests as I can. There has to be a trick on getting noticed, and I am determined to find it. I have never won a contest, never been a guest designer anywhere....this must change too! lol

Well, it's time for me to hit the shower and the girls at work have requested to see my newest pages since last showing them my pages. so I need to take some time and put them in an album.

Have fun,....until next time.
Linda

p.s. for the troubled trouble maker with the string grey hair and raw, country kick-butt attitude that posted on one of my blog entries. GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO PICK ON. I am not gonna take your bait. I saw the horrible posting you did on the site before you changed it. I am appalled and think you should apologize to us. I am personally sick of you.

2 for Tuesday

Day by day I am realizing that people are important to me. This little life I have does include many. One thing I need from them is respect. Not alot mind you, just alittle.

The guy in the red pickup truck that drives way over the speed limit that swooshes by me every morning, and has caused me to slam on my brakes needs to learn that the road isn't just his. The woman that tries to win psoting contests by cheating on scrapping sites and takes everything personal needs to learn that it isn't about her and her stringy grey hair. My mom will never learn that I am true blue to her until the end, but that is her issues with trust.

The girls that I have bonded with over the last few weeks I thank, sometimes adversary situations have a silver lining. My daughter is there, so is one of my sons, it is great to have such great friends, that trust and respect me. Kevin is my rock and he knows that my bark is way worse tan my bite and the last week we have really worked together on issues. Then there is always my little dog that is there, waitng for me to praise her.

Well time to hit the road. See ya all soon!

Made it thru another Monday

It was a wonderful weekend at the Safe. Great jokes, many laughs and I got to talk to a couple of the DT on the phone. Who woulda thunk it that I would find some of the nicest woman there?

Monday morning had me rushing and posting the week 3 sketch contest before heading to work. I love the girls there. There is such a variety of cultures, ages, races and we blend so well. We do customer service to businesses and it is totally fun.

You won't believe this...But, I am being unrightfully being accused of something. The accuser has issues/spats/complaint sessions with so many others that it just made me laugh. And get this its a VERY OLD woman, past the hot flash stage. I feel sad for people like that, don't you? Someone needs to tell her the quote is "walk softly and carry a big stick" not stir up things with it. lol

I made it to my sister's house to deliver the canvas album I made for week 11 challenge and she loved it. She cried and when I showed her the little tag for her journaling about her 2nd anniversary she made me cry!!! lol

ok...folks I need to take some time to relax and then head to bed.

take care,
Linda

Rainy days of Saturday always make me

SLEEPY!
What is it about the sound of raindrops? If it were drops from the bathroom sink I would be going totally crazy. But, with rain I seem to overlook the annoyance of the offbeat plinks and plonks...Telling myself green things are getting refreshed.

OK...Being a DT of the Memory safe has many, MANY perks and one is the great group of talented women I work with. They nudge, guide and with all of that I have added a slider of my favorite work. Hope you find it fun! Thanks to out to Jeanne for the nudging and Angela for the guiding. lol

This week I accomplished a lot of scrapping. 2 pages, one for the MME DT call and one for the Immunity Challenge at the Safe. I also got 2 mini albums done, one for the MME DT call (on my slider the flip flop book) and one for Week 12 of the Survivor challenge for the Safe. All I did was work, cook, scrap, sleep. LOL

Anyone waiting on mailings from me...I apologize, but I will get things out on Monday. I work right next to the big P.O. in Indianapolis, so I don't have that excuse, especially with an hour lunch.

My sister's celebrating her 2nd Anniversary tomorrow. Kinda sad she is bedridden at this point. I made her a little album and taking her some homemade beef veggie soup and banana bread.

Well...This marks another 1/2 hour I sat down and wrote something they call a blog. No one has been seeing them, since I didn't share a link....DUH.

take care,
Linda

I created a Slide Show! Check it out!
