OK...so I missed my birthday

Yup last Thursday was my 45th and I would of done a wonderful post about the process of growing older and the realization of some most relevant things...but, I couldn't find my dashboard of the blog. (thanks, Margo)

WOW, that reminds me of all of last week. I couldn't find my ATM card, and well never did. Misplaced my checkbook with all of my important I.D. (including my LSS card with only $40.00 left to stamp off) I found on Sunday in the TRASH. I cleaned out my purse looking for the ATM card. I have one of the larger Vera Bradley bags and there are way too many pockets. My son (should I call him my favorite at this point?) got my a $40.00 gift certificate to the LSS that I only need $40.00 to get $20.00 MORE. I am starting to ask myself instead of sitting here why am I not in the truck? OK its not a truck, truck but the License branch said that since the back end is opened I had to get the more expensive plates. Its a SUV, one of the Explorer Sport Trax. I love it, btw but, that happened the week before last. I was late a day too...since the 15th fell on a weekend. Did I tell you about the braI got last week? The only thing I realy wanted was a bra without those wires. The only bra they had in the style and size I wanted was GREEN. I am not complaining just letting you all see inside the little box I live in.

I am starting to embarass myself...and I think I am gonna hunt down someone more blog savvy so I can get some of my pages on here! I just love the thingy that rotates the pages for you to view. So off I go....number 2 blog written. Done.

First posting!!!

Where do I start???? An introduction is in order possibly. How do I introduce myself to make a great impression? Telling you a bit about what goes on in my everyday life is too boring. Up, shower, eat, drive to work to sit all day talking to people on the phone. Drive back home, make dinner, hit the computer and then watch a few shows. See....no impression made. My kiddos are all grown, all 5 of them. Being a single mom with them growing up, life sure was different. I always had dreams of when my time was not taken up with homework helping, educational shows, driving them to lessons and looking for the lost sock.

The main reason for me starting a blog was to express myself, something I love to do. With my obsession with scrapbooking it offers so many ways to express. From my love of color, my journaling about my loved ones to getting creative with paper and embellishments. And this blog was to let me showcase some of my work. Showing off your newest creations is one of the perks of scrapbooking and being a part of the internet scrappers, well if you ask me. I still am excited to being named as part of the Memory Safe Design Team a few weeks back and already got my first kit and made a few layouts with it!!!

Well, I consider this first entry done.
Thanks for reading it...and please, please feel free to comment on anything!
